Pittsburgh is notorious for it's street-by-street differences. Geographically, demographically, and chronologically -- Pittsburgh is dynamic. This interactive dashboard is a tool to compare Pittsburgh neighborhoods (aggregated by census tract) to each other over time.

Tips & Tricks for Use
By default, all of Pittsburgh is selected on these charts. To select a specific neighborhood, click on the neighborhood on the map. You may click it again to deselect it. You can also zoom and pan around the map. You may select up to 10 neighborhoods at once, and the Deselect All button can be used to reset your selections.

Notes about the Data
Data on demographics, home values, income and rent are aggregated from the 2000, 2012 and 2022 American Community Survey (ACS), then mapped from census tract to neighborhoods or neighborhood clusters.
